Hospital duress network
Paid pilot across a major Queensland hospital network — wireless duress where running cable through a live ward isn't an option. Scoped for full-campus rollout.
Hardware Product & Production
I take security hardware from schematic to a shipped unit to a live site that has to work at 3am.
Founder at Bravis Intelligence, co-founder at Cuvoe, and part of a security integration business that has been running for twenty years. Mostly I'm interested in the gap between something that works on a bench and something a stranger can install on a Tuesday.
Deployments, not case studies.

Gate and perimeter state on a site where standard sensors fail — misaligned gates, chain padlocks, no cable path. Installed and reporting.
Retrofit over the existing cabling rather than a rip-and-replace — the reason the numbers work at all. Early scoping and technical response.
Multi-site trials of the key safe, including an attended-mode flow for high-security facilities. Manufacturing ramp running in parallel.
Three businesses, one thread.
Unified site awareness and industrial security. The hardware arm — where the integrator becomes a manufacturer. I run product and production: what gets built, what gets cut, and how it gets made at volume.

The constraint on shipping isn't engineering hours — it's calendar time spent proving reliability. A finished product still needs months in the field before anyone will buy a thousand of them. So concepts go out raw: wrong enclosure, oversized battery, rough firmware. The clock starts immediately instead of after the industrial design is signed off.
Ten raw concepts go out. The sales team reports which one customers actually react to. Only that one earns refinement. It is much cheaper to be wrong ten times in a plastic box than once in tooling.
A services business trades hours for money and stops the day you do. The product division exists to outgrow the integration business that funds it. The blocker was never demand — it's confidence in manufacturing at volume, which is where most of my week goes.
I'm the bottleneck in my own business, and I track it deliberately: what came through me, and how much of it someone else could have done. Every runbook I write is trying to make the second number bigger.
